November, 1951:  Spring Step Slippers


The slippers came in silver grey corduroy with rose trim.  They could be reordered with either the rose trim or red or green trim.


This month's letter says, "Recently several great national women's magazines printed pictures and articles about Fad Club success kits."  Unfortunately, although I have checked the Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature I have not been able to locate those pictures and articles; only occasional advertisements in magazines such as Workbasket.
