March, 1950: Candy Stripe Purse
Two matching hats were available: Hilander and Curl Brim
(which had an open crown). You can see them at the bottom of the
letter that came with the kit.
The kit came with what they call "candy stripe" fabric and buckram for lining.
The taffeta purse has drawstrings of the same material that fit through
loops at the top of the bag. Here are pictures of the bag open
