January, 1950: Spring-a-Ring Apron
The kit came with a clear plastic waistband

and a piece of fabric in a pink dogwood print.
It could be reordered (for 75¢ each) in either pink or yellow
dogwood print, and waistbands could be ordered for 50¢ each. The
plastic is slipped into a channel sewn into the top of the fabric, and
slid around the waist to be held in place without apron strings.
The apron is rather short, as you can see in both the drawing and the
picture.

In November, 1952, a Spring-a-Ring Apron was sent out as a new member
kit, but the fabric was white with a dark-blue floral and net print. (insert picture of fabric)
